Yes, well, everybody knows that the british sense of humour is the best. Maybe you can ask Mr Barroso about harmonisation of comedy across the EU next time you have a meeting with him? Maybe some kind of satire Euronorm to ensure full cultural integration...

I'm sure Mr Barroso will find that's a great idea. Actually, maybe I could be his commissioner for this hard task:)) I'll ask him soon, don't worry... Would you like to be my assistant!?!
Anyway, yesterday in my exam of Politics of european integration, i had to explain the british position towards European Union since the 50's... Such a fun!!!

Sounds good, but don't forget that formulating policy is hungry work, and the brasseries in brussels are quite expensive, so we'll need a big lunch expenses fund.

I'm sure european budget is big enough to feed you:)) Even if mean british people only want to give 1% of their annual budget por the UE... Bastards!!!
Who is going to pay for the development of mediterrean countries now!!?? Even worst, now we have to share this 1% with the eastern block...
